The Lesson Planner generates complete, ready-to-teach PE lesson plans tailored to your topic, grade level, and teaching approach. Each plan includes warm-ups, core activities, cool-downs, and learning objectives.
Topic (required) — The skill, sport, or theme for the lesson (e.g. "Overhand throwing", "Basketball dribbling", "Cooperative games").
Year/Grade Level (required) — Select the appropriate year or grade for your students.
Duration — Lesson length in minutes. Default is 45 minutes.
Curriculum — Choose your curriculum framework (e.g. Australian Curriculum, US SHAPE Standards). This ensures the plan aligns with your required standards.
Class Size — Number of students. Helps the AI suggest appropriate group sizes and activity formats.
Teaching Approach — Choose from Direct Teaching, Game Sense, TGfU, Sport Education, or other approaches.
Available Equipment — List what equipment you have. The AI will only include activities using gear you actually have.
Learning Objectives — Add specific objectives you want the lesson to address.
A complete lesson plan that typically includes:
Lesson overview and learning objectives
Warm-up activity (5–10 minutes)
Core activities with clear instructions, diagrams, and progressions
Cool-down and reflection
Teaching cues and key questions
Equipment list and setup notes
Curriculum standard alignment
Be specific with your topic — "Forehand drive in badminton" produces more focused results than just "badminton".
Include equipment constraints if you have limited gear — the AI will adapt accordingly.
Try different teaching approaches for the same topic to compare lesson structures.
